  • Started homebrewing in high school
  • Worked for Wild Goose Brewing Company, Cambridge, Maryland in 1991
  • Graduated from the University of Califonia with a Masters of Science in Food Science and Technology, with an emphasis in brewing in 1994.
  • Helped open Clipper City Brewing Company, Baltimore, Maryland in 1995
  • Started at Brewer's Alley in September 1997

  • Started brewing as a homebrewer and worked at a homebrew shop in Portsmouth, New Hampshire
  • Worked for Portsmouth Brewery in Portsmouth , NH 1997-1998
  • Worked for Redhook Brewing Company in Portsmouth, NH 1998-1999
  • Worked for Frederick Brewing Company in Frederick, MD 1999-2000
  • Began with Brewer's Alley in January 2001
